Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of IT Security experience
• Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Experience in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common programming language
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques
• Experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools
• Experience across SDLC security activities including design review, threat modeling, secure code review, and security testing
• Knowledge of HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP networking
• 5+ years of scripting, programming, or security code review in languages such as Python, Java or C++
• 4+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration or network security
• Knowledge of command line tools to troubleshoot protocols or automate tasks
• Experience with AWS products and services

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML-powered vulnerability management solutions
• Perform vulnerability assessments with business context and prioritize remediation
• Engineer scalable vulnerability detection mechanisms and automation pipelines
• Develop automated workflows and tooling to reduce manual toil
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across vulnerability and asset data
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive remediation outcomes
• Own end-to-end security remediation campaigns
• Manage security exception processes and risk assessments
• Perform security code reviews and architectural assessments
• Maintain operational metrics and executive risk summaries
• Mentor team members and document processes
