Job summary

State Street seeks a Security Data Solutions Engineer to shape next-gen cybersecurity data platforms and AI-powered solutions. You’ll partner with Global Cyber Security, Cloud, and Infra teams to design scalable telemetry and analytics that enable faster, AI-driven decisions.

You will translate complex requirements into production-scale data solutions, drive data onboarding, and ensure governance and operational reliability across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, data engineering, AI/ML, security analytics, or related fields.
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise-scale data products, data lakes, Lakehouse and data warehouses.
• Advanced expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake and cloud-native data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for security data solutions supporting SIEM, analytics, threat hunting, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Define data requirements, onboarding priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for security data products.
• Design enterprise-scale telemetry solutions for on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Analyze source systems, log schemas, retention needs, and downstream analytics requirements.
• Design workflows for onboarding security data from apps, cloud, identity systems, and devices.
• Ensure data quality, timeliness, and governance for security telemetry.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product managers to prioritize capabilities.
