Job summary

Southern Company Services seeks a SCM Contracts Agent for Power Delivery to manage contracting, sourcing, and risk across multiple projects. You will support RFI/RFP processes, develop contracts, and coordinate with legal, risk, and finance to resolve contractor issues.

You will drive strategic sourcing programs, negotiate favorable terms, and promote AI-enabled improvements to streamline workflows in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Law or other relevant technical disciplines preferred.
• Experience in contract sourcing and development, including direct experience with negotiating contract terms and conditions for services contracts, strongly preferred.
• Experience with contract drafting, contract language and law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily contracting and sourcing support—from RFI/RFP to contract closeout and risk assessment.
• Lead negotiations, cost & price analysis, and preparation of contract documents.
• Promote AI and digital technologies to improve contract lifecycle management and data quality.
