Job summary

Foundry Robotics is seeking a Technical Program Manager who thrives on turning model team requirements into production data and calibrating rigs on the floor. You will own data collection, QA programs, and SOPs, partnering with the model team, Operations, and frontier labs to deliver rigorous, scalable datasets and clear success criteria.

This full-time role based in San Francisco involves coordinating with researchers and engineers, building dashboards, and driving rapid build-test-learn cycles

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a strong PM or TPM with exposure to hardware, data pipelines, or physical workflows.
• Proven ability to build data collection or technical operations programs from the ground up.
• Comfortable owning task specs, QA programs, and standardization.
• Hands-on on both desk and floor, calibrating rigs and updating stakeholders.
• SQL or Python proficient to pull data and build dashboards.
• Track record of improving program metrics (usable hours, SLA attainment).

Responsibilities

• Manage the rig fleet end-to-end, including procurement and lifecycle.
• Own rig calibration cadence and drift detection and validation.
• Define success criteria with model teams and translate data needs into rules.
• Author SOPs and hand to Operations Manager for floor execution.
• Own new task ramp-up, including spec, pilot batch design, and gate sign-off.
• Run daily capture logs and weekly dataset reports for stakeholders.
• Own data governance, metadata completeness, and auditability.
