Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Chicago is seeking a Reporting Automation / AI Developer to design, build, and maintain automated reporting solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across risk reporting processes.

You will partner with risk reporting teams to transform manual processes into automated pipelines, create AI-enabled workflows, and develop Python/Shell applications while delivering reliable Power BI data models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills with complex views and stored procedures.
• Experience designing automated reporting using Python/Shell.
• Ability to translate processes into automated pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated reporting solutions for risk reporting.
• Build and integrate AI-enabled workflows to streamline data preparation, validation, and report generation.
• Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts to support reporting automation.
• Re-engineer legacy reporting processes into automated pipelines.
• Design optimized data marts and star schemas for Power BI consumption and SQL optimization.
