Job summary

BMO Harris Bank is seeking a Senior Manager (Individual Contributor) for Data Analytics & Reporting in Chicago. You will lead enterprise data onboarding, ingestions, and integration initiatives supporting AI, analytics, and BI use cases, while mentoring engineers and driving engineered data solutions.

You will partner with Data Scientists, Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, governed data pipelines, ensuring secure, observable data for AI/ML workloads and enterprise AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in Data Engineering / analytics within large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years as technical Delivery leader.
• Experience delivering enterprise data integration, warehousing, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms.
• Strong SQL, Python; able to work with large-scale data across cloud/on-prem.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Search or equivalent.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; influence decisions.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery; cross-functional teams.
• Experience in financial services is a plus; familiarity with governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead data ingestion and integration initiatives for AI, analytics, BI use cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Scientists to translate needs into data requirements and models.
• Design scalable data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, unstructured data; ensure AI readiness and governance.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, optimize cost and throughput of pipelines.
• Mentor engineers; own technical outcomes and drive quality, resilience, and business value.
