Job summary

Baron Properties is seeking an experienced Real Estate Investment and Development Analyst to join the firm’s dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ. The analyst will underwrite and manage Baron’s multifamily and industrial business lines and support senior leadership in evaluating new markets across the mountain west and southwest.

The role requires strong real estate financial analysis skills, market research capabilities, and ability to forecast cash flows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in real estate analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research and analysis for target markets in Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho.
Prepare financial models and projections for potential investment and development opportunities.
Assist in due diligence activities for new acquisitions and developments.
Analyze real estate market fundamentals, including supply and demand dynamics, demographic trends, and economic indicators.
Develop and maintain an understanding of local market conditions and trends in assigned territories.
Create investment memorandums and presentation materials for executive leadership and capital partners.
Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate impact of variables on investment performance.
Collaborate with senior team to identify and analyze real estate opportunities.
Implement and lead efforts to improve efficiencies within the transactions team, including AI platforms.
