Job summary

Cloudflare, Inc. is seeking a Rack Integration Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team.

You will act as the quality gatekeeper for hardware build programs, ensuring BOM accuracy and smooth collaboration with contract manufacturing partners. You will also contribute to materials planning, logistics coordination, vendor performance, and the development of AI-enabled automations to streamline repetitive workflows across the rack build lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Vendor or contract manufacturing management experience including BOM validation.
• Ability to evaluate rack-level specs to ensure manufacturing compliance.
• Experience in Jira for tracking workflows and KPIs.
• Applied AI/automation experience to automate workflows.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, supply chain and external partner teams.

Responsibilities

• Review BOMs and validate parts with integration partners.
• Coordinate with hardware design to resolve DCRs and BOM discrepancies.
• Maintain quality standards across rack power, networking, server, and firmware.
• Plan materials and forecast demand for rack build programs.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics between partners and Cloudflare sites.
• Track SLAs, vendor scorecards, and root-cause analyses.
• Lead documentation, status check-ins, and project closeouts in cross-functional efforts.
• Develop lightweight automation scripts and tooling for broader use.
