Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Quality Engineer, AI & Test Automation to move testing toward automation-first, AI-enabled quality across digital products and enterprise apps.

You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites, validate APIs and data, integrate tests into CI/CD, and partner with product, engineering, and data teams to raise delivery quality and release confidence within a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of quality engineering, software testing, test automation, AI quality, or related technology delivery roles.
• Hands-on experience designing automated tests for APIs, web/mobile apps, workflows, data validation, integrations, or end-to-end product experiences.
• Experience with defect triage, release readiness, quality metrics, and CI/CD in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, acceptance criteria, and quality approaches with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements, workflows, APIs, data dependencies into clear test scenarios and validation plans.
• Identify quality risks early and recommend validation approaches including automated, manual, exploratory, integration, regression, or AI-specific methods.
• Design, build, maintain, and improve automated test suites for API, UI, integration, data, and workflow validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows to accelerate quality signals.
