Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Quality Engineer, AI & Test Automation to advance automated and AI-enabled quality practices across digital products and enterprise applications.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for API, UI, data validation, and end-to-end scenarios while integrating tests into CI/CD and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data & Analytics, and AI teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of quality engineering, software testing, test automation, SDET, or AI quality.
• Experience with CI/CD, defect management, and release readiness.
• Exposure to AI-enabled testing concepts and evaluation practices.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, acceptance criteria, and quality approaches for software and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Translate requirements and APIs into test scenarios and validation plans.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for API, UI, integration, data, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for early, consistent quality signals.
• Support testing of AI-enabled experiences, including agent workflows and tool calls.
• Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure early quality and release readiness.
