Job summary

Valsoft Corporation’s Flexigrant QA role focuses on owning quality from exploratory testing to automation, with AI tools integrated into daily workflows. You will collaborate with developers and the Product Manager to define clear acceptance criteria and support rapid releases across a remote-first team.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of QA experience, strong manual testing skills, and familiarity with Selenium/Cypress, Postman, and SQL. AI fluency will be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a software QA or testing role, ideally within an Agile team.
• Strong manual testing skills (exploratory, functional, regression and edge‑case), across web apps.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
• API testing experience (Postman) and SQL for data validation.
• Ability to convert meetings into test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Daily use of AI tools with ability to prompt and review outputs.
• Interest in AI-assisted testing workflows (desirable).
• ISTQB/BCS or other certifications desirable, not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and run manual testing across Flexigrant, including exploratory, functional, regression and edge‑case testing.
• Build and maintain automated tests; grow test coverage.
• Refine requirements with developers and Product Manager into clear acceptance criteria.
• Reproduce and document issues clearly with actionable feedback.
• Perform API testing and use SQL to validate data and investigate issues.
• Support releases each sprint; participate in planning and stand-ups.
• Use AI tooling daily to improve testing processes and speed delivery.
• Share product knowledge and help improve QA processes.
