You will review performance across a portfolio of multifamily communities, compare properties, identify expense outliers, and build reports to help ownership spot issues before they become costly.

Qualifications

• Currently working as a financial analyst in property management or multifamily real estate.
• Strong Excel skills and solid understanding of property-level P&Ls and budgets.
• Genuine interest in using AI tools for financial analysis and reporting; no programming background required.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and expense trends across all properties in the portfolio.
• Identify outliers — properties spending more than they should on maintenance, payroll, contract services, etc. — and dig into why
• Build new recurring and ad hoc reports for ownership, driven by your own analysis
• Use AI tools to speed up reporting, analysis, and anomaly-spotting
• Work alongside our utility analyst on cross-checking findings related to usage-driven expenses
