Job summary

ASTM International is seeking a Product Manager II to guide product strategy and lifecycle management across ASTM’s diverse offerings. You will translate stakeholder needs into roadmaps, work with agile teams, and collaborate with marketing, production and service groups to drive value and revenue.

You’ll apply AI tools to improve research, prototyping, and requirements writing, while balancing innovation with product reliability. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role.
• 3+ years in publishing or software development (or labs/engineering).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap; translate vision into actionable plans.
• Prepare market and financial analyses including pricing recommendations.
• Collaborate with Digital Services and external vendors using SAFE agile.
• Lead prototypes, proofs of concept, and pilot programs for new products.
• Balance short-term deliverables with long-term product health and technical debt.
