Job summary

Proscia, a leader in digital pathology AI software, is hiring a Product Designer who will own product areas end-to-end, blending AI insights with strong visual craft. You’ll shape problem framing, experiences, and asset creation, partnering with the Director of Design to deliver user-centered solutions in a regulatory environment.

You’ll design for human-AI collaboration, run research with pathologists and scientists, and contribute to the design system, while occasionally supporting marketing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as Product or UI/UX Designer.
• Real experience designing AI/ML-driven product experiences.
• Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end product craft and visual typography/layout.
• Experience designing web applications for professional use.
• Ownership of design system contributions and scalable components.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication and ability to explain design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own discrete product areas end-to-end, including AI-driven insights.
• Design for human-AI collaboration and trustworthy outputs.
• Lead user research via observation, interviews, and usability testing.
• Create empathy maps, personas, and journey maps.
• Develop storyboards, flows, and sitemaps; produce mockups and wireframes.
• Create icons, illustrations, onboarding graphics, and data visuals.
• Collaborate with product, eng, and science teams to translate insights into design.
• Align with regulated medical device frameworks and usability standards.
• Support marketing with polished visuals when needed.
