Job summary

Proscia, located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Product Designer to own discrete product areas end-to-end, focusing on AI-powered insights, trust, and experimentation. You will shape the user experience for pathologists and scientists, extending beyond UI to iconography and data visualization, while collaborating across disciplines.

The role requires experience with AI/ML-driven product experiences, strong Figma skills, and a portfolio showing end-to-end craft.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience as a Product or UI/UX Designer.
Real experience designing AI or ML-driven product experiences: surfacing model confidence and enabling human-in-the-loop review.
Proficiency in design software such as Figma.

Responsibilities

Own discrete product areas end-to-end, from problem framing through shipped, validated experience, including AI-powered outputs and explanations.
Design for human-AI collaboration and surface uncertainty without eroding clinical confidence.
Lead research efforts with pathologists and scientists through observation, interviews, and usability testing.
Create empathy maps, user personas, and journey maps to keep users at the center.
Develop storyboards, flows, sitemaps; produce UI mockups, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
Generate graphical elements, icon sets, illustrations, onboarding graphics, and contribute to the design system.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and scientists to translate insights into design solutions.
Design with awareness of regulated medical device software compliance (IEC 62366, FDA usability).
Infuse AI into the design process to improve UX and product quality.
Support marketing assets with guidance from design leadership.
