The Digital Procurement Intern role focuses on applying AI to sourcing, P2P, and supplier management across a hybrid workflow. You’ll collaborate with engineers, procurement operators, and business leaders to move ideas from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, CS, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related).
• Demonstrated interest in AI/ML concepts and their practical application.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and building structure where none exists yet.
• Ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement operations, systems owners).

Responsibilities

• Identify high‑value opportunities for AI‑assisted solutions across procurement operations (sourcing, contracting, P2P, supplier management, travel and expense)
• Support the design of AI‑assisted workflows, including where orchestration layers, agents, and direct‑to‑ERP patterns each make sense
• Bring a Day 1 lens to existing end‑to‑end workflows - challenging legacy assumptions and identifying where agents can complement orchestration rather than duplicate it
• Prototype and help develop solutions, from proof‑of‑concept through to operational readiness
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and vendor capabilities (e.g., agentic procurement platforms, LLM integrations) against GSP's systems strategy
• Document as‑is and target‑state process flows for AI‑assisted procurement use cases
• Partner cross‑functionally with systems owners to understand integration points and constraints
• Build business cases and present findings and recommendations to GSP leadership
• Support benchmarking against industry practice on AI‑enabled procurement
