Lennox, a global HVAC leader, seeks a hands-on Technical Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise IoT platforms with AI-first thinking. You will own architecture, mentor engineers, and lead delivery from code to production across Java, Python, and modern front-end stacks.

The role emphasizes hands-on development ownership, strong architectural judgment, and collaboration with product and operations teams to ensure reliability and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating enterprise software; degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Java engineering with JVM internals, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years leading architecture across applications, platform, data, cloud-native services, APIs, and high-availability production platforms.
• Experience applying AI-native development practices and automation frameworks.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to work in unclear environments.

Responsibilities

• Spend 50%+ time on hands-on technical work including coding, design reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Translate business needs into architectural roadmaps and delivery-ready plans.
• Write production-quality code daily in Java and/or Python; guide TypeScript/JavaScript and API implementations.
• Lead engineers through architecture execution, code reviews, and production readiness activities.
• Partner with product owners, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
