Data and AI Trust Company is offering a Summer 2027 internship for Platform, Security & AI Engineering. The role is based in San Jose, CA, requiring in-office presence five days a week.

Interns will work on backend Go code, Kubernetes infrastructure, AI agent development, and security tooling under senior engineers. The program runs June–August 2027 (10–12 weeks) with weekly professional development, networking events, and growth opportunities in cyber security, data resilience, and AI risk

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a graduate student in an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Write backend code and automation in Go within a large production-grade codebase.
• Learn patterns for scalable infrastructure; deploy and manage containerized apps across Kubernetes clusters and AWS (EKS, ECR, IAM).
• Build long-running agents for Securiti AI platforms for CISOs and security analysts; enable automated breach impact analysis, compliance reporting, and data access auditing.
• Analyze Kubernetes deployment configurations to identify and fix security gaps; patch vulnerabilities in container images to harden the platform.
• Develop internal tooling, testing harnesses, and security utilities; execute API and cross-service integration tests.
