Job summary

Veeam is offering a Summer Internship program in San Jose for rising juniors and seniors pursuing CS or related fields, with a focus on Go/Python development, Kubernetes infrastructure, and AI-enabled security tooling.

You will rotate through Backend, AI/Agent Development, and Security tracks, gaining hands-on experience in production-grade systems and cross-functional collaboration within the University Relations team. On-site at San Jose campus, June–August 2027, 10–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a graduate student in an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
• This role requires you to be in office 5 days a week at the San Jose, California location.

Responsibilities

• Backend & Infrastructure: Write backend code and automation in Go within a large, production-grade codebase.
• AI & Agent Development: Build long-running agents that power Securiti AI + Veeam platforms for CISOs and security analysts.
• Agent Evaluation & Knowledge Pipelines: Develop evaluation pipelines and knowledge discovery for sharper decisions.
• Security & Vulnerability Management: Analyze Kubernetes deployments to identify security gaps and patch vulnerabilities.
• Tooling & Reliability: Develop internal tooling and testing harnesses for reliability.
