Nasdaq, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer to shape the cloud, platform, and reliability foundation powering Capital Access Platforms. You will drive technical strategy, establish SRE maturity, and embed AI-enabled practices across planning, build, and deployment.

A hands-on leader, you will mentor teams and translate business objectives into scalable architectures. The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, enterprise governance, and a hybrid in‑office model in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in cloud, platform, infrastructure, software, or reliability engineering.
• Expert-level Terraform with reusable modules, state, CI/CD, policy as code, governance.
• Deep AWS/Azure experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong SRE background including observability, resilience, incident management and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive cloud and platform engineering strategy for Capital Access Platforms, including reference architectures and reusable Terraform modules.
• Establish and lead site reliability engineering practices to improve reliability and reduce toil.
• Define and advance an AI-enabled development lifecycle across planning, coding, build, test, release, deployment, operations, and monitoring.
• Lead complex technical programs spanning multiple teams and products with clear roadmaps and execution plans.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders to elevate engineering capability across the organization.
