Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items.
• Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices across teams.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use and control in engineering workflows.
• Experience building and operating enterprise-scale platforms with high availability requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native development.
• Strong executive-level communication and alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives.
• Accountable for decisions influencing resources, budget, and project governance.
• Sets direction for AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation to improve speed, quality, and outcomes.
• Oversees tooling in the SDLC to improve automation value and capacity unlocks.
• Drives development of the Software Defined Branch platform and related modern systems.
• Ensures governance over coding decisions, security, resiliency, and cost of ownership.
• Delivers scalable technical solutions across multiple businesses and domains.
• Influences senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
