Job summary

DRW, a diversified trading firm based in Chicago, is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operationalize our AI tooling ecosystem. You will connect external cloud AI providers, internal models, and end-user tools into a unified control plane.

In this role you will configure multi-engine API gateways, migrate and integrate firm-wide tools, manage AI services in enterprise landing zones, and write robust Go and Python code to support dashboards and automated alerts.

Qualifications

• Strong backend programming experience in Go or Python.
• Hands-on API design, integration, and platform/cloud engineering.
• Familiarity with API gateways, proxy configuration, or distributed systems networking.
• Interest in evolving LLM ecosystem and AI tooling.
• Collaborative, clean, maintainable code development.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage multi-engine API gateways with dynamic routing and fallbacks.
• Migrate and integrate firm-wide tools into a centralized management plan for governance.
• Operate within Shared Responsibility Model with Cloud team to manage AI services in enterprise landing zones.
• Write Go and Python code to support usage dashboards and automated alerts.
• Collaborate with Inference Infrastructure to register and routable self-hosted models.
