Lightning AI is hiring a Senior People Partner to embed with our engineering leadership and shape how our fast-scaling, distributed tech teams evolve. You will own high-stakes situations end-to-end, from leveling calls to sensitive exits, while building scalable systems to empower technical leaders to make strong people decisions on their own.

You will join a small, high-leverage People team where your judgment affects how our AI-native org actually works, translating ambiguity into structure

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People Partnering or HRBP roles with direct partnerships to engineering/technical orgs
• Track record influencing senior technical leaders on org design, performance, and talent decisions
• Strong judgment in employee relations and ability to own high-stakes, complex situations
• Experience driving compensation, promotion, and leveling decisions in technical environments
• Experience supporting globally distributed technical teams and navigating multi-country complexity

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical leaders to drive clear, consistent calls on org design, team structure, leveling, promotions, and compensation
• Lead end-to-end employee relations and performance management coaching through transitions and exits
• Develop manager capabilities across the technical org with sharper feedback and performance conversations
• Collaborate with Talent to raise hiring quality through role design, leveling frameworks, and evaluation practices for technical roles
• Identify friction in people processes early and build practical, scalable fixes with Legal, Total Rewards, and Finance
