Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco. We’re rebuilding the business as software, turning expert judgment into compute. This SDR role is future-focused: you direct AI agents, automate workflows, and apply human judgment where the machines stall.

The role is high-volume outbound and inbound, based on-site in San Francisco, Monday–Friday, 8am–8pm ET. You’ll learn the insurance industry from the inside and help define top-of-funnel growth for Harper.

Qualifications

• Fluency in fast-paced, demanding environments (new grads OK).
• Strong multitasking ability: talk, listen, and log simultaneously.
• Professional, confident, and clear on the phone.
• Based in San Francisco, New York, or Atlanta, in-office, full-time (Nice to have).
• Insurance, fintech, or financial-services background preferred.
• Bilingual+.
• SDR or BDR roles at high-volume SaaS or AI companies.
• Outbound or customer-success-focused experience.

Responsibilities

• Run high-volume outbound outreach via calls and email sequences built with our marketing team; you're the first voice of Harper.
• Own inbound pipeline: warm leads, live intake, and transferring qualified contacts to AE.
• Capture detailed information during calls and build workflows with AI to scale outbound.
• Collaborate with marketing; feed back what messaging lands on calls and which leads convert.
• Aim for volume and quality targets with accurate data and fast follow-up.
