Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking an Observability Automation Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise observability platforms while driving automation, AI, and Agentic AI initiatives. The role focuses on reducing operational overhead, improving service reliability, and accelerating troubleshooting across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3+ years in Observability, SRE, Infrastructure or Operations Engineering.
• Strong experience with monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance management platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating observability platforms with cloud services and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise observability platforms for monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Develop dashboards and service health metrics for actionable insights.
• Implement and optimize observability using Splunk, AppDynamics, or Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Automate operational processes, alert management and runbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations to improve performance and reliability.
• Drive AI-powered observability capabilities and automation.
