Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Threat Detection R&D Engineer to advance AI-enabled threat detection for large-scale data centers. You will research emerging threats, develop proactive IDPS capabilities, and translate intelligence into robust signatures.

You will work with Python, Docker, and Kubernetes in a global team across time zones, contributing to cutting-edge security analytics within the ANS division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with extensive experience.
• Strong experience in network security and IDPS concepts.
• Experience with Python, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to work with AI tools and agentic AI systems.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research into emerging network threats to keep IDPS ahead of adversaries.
• Architect and build AI-enabled security solutions for virtual workloads in data centers.
• Analyze malicious traffic to design robust detection signatures.
• Construct scalable data collection infrastructures with automated feedback loops.
• Translate threat intelligence into actionable, high-fidelity detection logic.
