We have an exciting opportunity for an ICB5 Staff Engineer on our Network Detection and Research Team (NDRT). Our team is responsible for the development of network security and intrusion detection capabilities for the vDefend Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) solution, a cutting-edge networking and security analytics solution for the detection and prevention of advanced threats.
We are passionate about network detection and threat research, and combine in a single team experts with varying backgrounds, all contributing to the development of new detection capabilities in the product. The position requires 5 days/week attendance at the Broadcom office in Palo Alto.

The hiring manager for this role is Luukas Larinkoski, who leads the Network Detection and Research Team and is based in London, UK. The team members are based in Palo Alto, US and Europe. The NDRT team is part of the Advanced Threat Prevention group, which has strong roots in academic research with several members having published in top academic conferences on network security topics.
The annual base salary range for this position is USD 143,800.00 To USD 230,000.00
