Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of buying/procurement in a manufacturing consumer goods environment.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using technical experience and judgment.
Proficiency in using MRP software, Excel and automation tools to create analytics for actionable insights.
Strong working knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control methods.

Responsibilities

Material planning and MRP execution to meet domestic and global demand.
Align demand, forecast, and inventory, monitor annual forecasts and disposition of excess materials.
Place purchase orders, manage supplier schedules, and maintain order status in the ERP system.
Identify at-risk parts using predictive indicators and supplier performance trends; coordinate resolutions.
Monitor contracts and supplier performance; ensure compliance with terms and sourcing strategy.
