Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of buying/procurement in a manufacturing consumer goods environment.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using technical experience and judgment.
• Proficiency in using MRP software, Excel and automation tools to create analytics.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Material planning and MRP execution to meet demand.
• Align demand, forecast, and inventory for international and domestic demand.
• Place purchase orders, manage supplier delivery schedules and update system records.
• Identify risks, shortages, and issues; monitor supplier performance and convey options.
• Collaborate with sourcing, planning, operations, engineering, quality and product management to resolve issues.
• Support inventory management and working capital improvements with suppliers.
