Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Middle Office Operations Margin Specialist to manage account-level risk and margin operations. You will analyze margin calls, resolve escalations, and help scale processes while collaborating with clearing, product, compliance, and engineering teams.

The role requires FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 63), strong knowledge of Regulation T, and experience with retail margin calls. In-person work is expected at multiple U.S. offices; some flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required.
• Understanding of equities and option strategies.
• Proficiency with technology and data-driven tools; automation mindset.
• Experience with retail client margin calls.
• Knowledge of Regulation T and FINRA Rule 4210.

Responsibilities

• Review daily margin calls and execute the firm's margin sellout process.
• Perform cross-entity recovery efforts to ensure timely reconciliation.
• Leverage AI-driven initiatives to improve workflows and automate tasks.
• Act as SME during outages and participate in on-call rotations.
• Test new products and conduct routine testing for stability and compliance.
• Research and resolve margin-related escalations promptly and compliantly.
• Monitor intraday alerts to mitigate firm and customer risk.
• Collaborate with clearing, engineering, product, and international teams to raise efficiency.
• Monitor margin interest rates and support rate program implementations.
• Maintain SOPs and contribute to Help Center updates.
