Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. is seeking an operations-focused AI specialist to guide and implement AI initiatives across manufacturing and business operations. You will translate real operational pain points into workable AI solutions and drive adoption on the floor and in supporting functions.

The role bridges operations teams with technology, leveraging Grok Build, Codex, and other platforms to digitize processes, automate tasks, and generate actionable insights from data.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years in an Operations Systems focused environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing or operations processes; semiconductor or electronics background preferred.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools to real business problems.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities with ops, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Lead or support AI-enabled process improvement projects from idea to pilot and scale.
• Use Grok Build, Codex, and similar tools to digitize manual processes and create prototypes.
• Analyze operational data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Define scope, success metrics, and implementation plans, managing stakeholders.
• Document solutions and create user guides; support change management.
• Stay current on practical AI capabilities for manufacturing and ops; assess tools.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance to meet security and regulatory requirements.
