Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring Decision Engineers (AI Software Engineers) for the Compute Production team within Decision Engineering, building decision systems for the compute production flow. You'll work directly with the compute production teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI augmentation, then ship tools that drive measurable productivity gains.

This is a unique opportunity to define how a fast-growing infrastructure company integrates AI into every aspect of its operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade code in Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Full-stack web development skills (React/Next.js or similar).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and AI tooling, building production applications.
• Experience using AI coding agents with concrete examples of tools built.
• Ability to work autonomously and ship high-impact results.

Responsibilities

• Build decision systems and internal tools leveraging frontier models that make the compute production flow significantly more productive
• Own tools end to end, from conception through production, iterating directly with the people who use them
• Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure including AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md, and build shared skills for the organization
• Build custom integrations between LLMs and internal systems (Slack, GitHub, internal APIs, operational data)
• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI capabilities and proactively identify new opportunities to apply emerging techniques
