Gibson Dunn, a leading global law firm, seeks a Knowledge Attorney for M&A/Private Equity to own and update M&A/PE forms, advise on practice trends, and drive drafting resources. The role leverages AI to compare forms against precedent and public filings, coordinating with the Legal Technology & AI Attorney and senior partners.

The ideal candidate has strong drafting judgment, 7+ years in M&A/PE, and can work with partners, specialists, and Delaware counsel while maintaining firm standards.

Formación

• JD or equivalent; admitted to practice in the state where based.
• At least seven years of significant M&A and/or Private Equity experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating M&A/PE transaction documents across public, private deals.
• Experience with AI-assisted legal analysis or document automation preferred.
• Strong drafting judgment and ability to work with partners and specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary substantive owner of the Firm’s M&A and Private Equity forms, ensuring accuracy, quality, consistency and usefulness.
• Review the existing collection to identify current resources, retires or archives outdated materials, and prioritize by use and importance.
• Develop new forms and related drafting resources in response to recurring practice needs.
• Coordinate focused reviews with M&A/PE lawyers and with specialists across practice groups.
• Manage the review cycle and documentation of substantive changes and status of items.
• Maintain documentation of substantive review decisions and drafting developments.
