Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to analyze business processes, design improved workflows, and implement automation using low-code platforms including UiPath and Power Automate. You will collaborate with developers when deeper integrations are required.

The role focuses on eliminating manual work, streamlining operations, and applying AI-driven automation across the business in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, computer science, or engineering with relevant work experience.
• 5+ years working as a business analyst, systems analyst or in a process improvement role.
• Experience working in agile or product delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of emerging AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of RPA (UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere).
• Familiarity with APIs and system integrations with basic scripting or programming (e.g. C#, Python).
• Experience with low-code automation platforms (preferred: UiPath).
• Strong ability to analyze and redesign business processes with mapping tools (Visio, Miro, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders, manage expectations, and align teams to deliver outcomes.
• Develop a strategic vision for automation platforms (design, configuration, support).
• Provide after-hour support as required.
• Build automation workflows using low-code platforms (UiPath Studio or Power Automate).
• Produce documentation such as process maps, design documents and business requirements.
• Quantify potential benefits (time savings, cost reduction, error reduction).
• Interview stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and inefficiencies.
