Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to scale, modernize, and automate our global legal team. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to drive end-to-end improvements, including adopting AI-powered tools and workflows.

You will own legal processes, manage technology used by the team (Brightflag, Salesforce, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity), and champion new AI capabilities while ensuring compliance and data integrity in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of contract, program, or project management experience in a SaaS or technology company.
• Familiar with program management tools and techniques, breaking down tasks, roadmapping, owners with timelines, and reporting.
• Genuine passion for technology with hands-on experience evaluating or deploying AI/automation tools in a legal/business ops context.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and act as a change agent for new ways of working.
• Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• High integrity with sound judgment on AI use with sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve legal processes end-to-end, partnering with legal and non-legal owners to drive improvements and automation.
• Liaise with technical and cross-functional teams to implement solutions and troubleshoot issues for the legal team.
• Create and manage SOPs and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
