You will drive efficiency, cost discipline, and innovation across the function, owning systems, processes, technology, and vendor relationships that enable lawyers to focus on high-value work. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; CLOC certification preferred
• 5+ years in legal operations or related corporate role
• Experience scaling legal ops with systems, workflows, and metrics
• Proficient with CLM, e-billing, matter management and KM platforms
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in legal context (prompt engineering, governance)
• Strong budgeting and outside counsel management skills

Responsibilities

• Legal Operations Strategy & Continuous Improvement
• Design scalable legal operations framework aligned with business model
• Translate leadership priorities into practical processes, tools, and workflows
• Partner to codify playbooks, templates, and decision frameworks
• Own the legal technology stack—evaluate, implement, optimize, and maintain platforms such as CLM, e-billing, matter management and knowledge management systems
• Serve as the department's AI champion: pilot and deploy AI-powered tools to augment lawyer workflows
• Develop training programs, prompt-engineering guides, and governance best practices
• Develop methods to measure the value delivered by AI tools and related process improvements
• Outside Counsel Management & Cost Discipline
• Design and oversee a comprehensive outside counsel management program, including panel selection, engagement guidelines, and performance tracking
• Enhance billing discipline and budgeting frameworks
