Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a results-driven Legal Operations role to own core legal operations and rebuild them with AI and low-code tools. You will manage regulatory filings, contracts, and entity compliance across the US and Canada, reporting to the Legal Counsel and working with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, automation, and scalable processes in a startup environment, with opportunities to shape legal systems early on.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree from an academically rigorous program, with a record of high performance.
Experience owning projects from start to finish and solving problems autonomously.
Interest in using AI and technology to improve work processes.

Responsibilities

Automation: Use AI and low-code tools to replace manual legal tasks with autonomous workflows.
Lead legal and regulatory projects, including research and contract reviews.
Maintain entity compliance across US and Canada, handling annual reports end to end.
Monitor and protect brand IP, initiate cease-and-desist workflows as needed.
Investigate consumer escalations and translate into compliance training.
Conduct product compliance reviews with Engineering and Product to fix root causes.
Lead audits across operations and monitor high-risk areas.
