Job summary

QP Group is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer specializing in LIMS and Laboratory Automation to help biotech and pharma clients deploy scalable informatics solutions. You will work remotely from the US (up to 30% travel) and collaborate with scientists, lab operators, and engineering teams to design integrations, APIs, and automated workflows that modernize research processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with lab automation or laboratory informatics.
• Experience building integrations, APIs, workflows, or data pipelines.
• Ability to work with scientists, lab operations, and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of LIMS, ELN, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand and improve lab workflows.
• Integrate laboratory instruments, automation platforms, LIMS/ELN systems, and data pipelines.
• Build APIs, workflow automations, connectors, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate customer challenges into scalable solutions.
