Job summary

NRI North America is seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner to own the design, execution, and evaluation of skills programs across the organization. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to build capability, drive growth, and deliver outcomes for clients across North America.

The role emphasizes end-to-end program ownership, collaboration with stakeholders, and the use of AI and learning technologies to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in instructional design.
  • 3–5 years of experience executing and running training programs.
  • Fluency in leveraging AI technologies to create, manage, and evaluate learning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own scoping of full “training to evaluation” solutions; conduct needs analysis and define outcomes.
  • Support leaders in performance management and feedback with frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to collect content and design effective learning deliverables.
  • Develop and produce learning, enablement, and skills evaluation tools.
  • Launch, execute, and manage all scoped programs and initiatives.
  • Create surveys and quizzes to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Manage projects with timelines and stakeholder communications.
  • Source and partner with external vendors as needed.

Job description

The Learning and Development (L&D) Business Partner will own the design, creation, execution, management, and evaluation of our skills programs and initiatives. This includes owning the full cycle process of learning and development programs. This position plays a key role in driving team member growth, capability development, and development programs across the organization. This role will partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts across NRI to design and deliver impactful learning initiatives that build capability, support professional growth, and strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Own scoping of full “training to evaluation” solutions. Conduct needs analysis to define expected outcomes. Scope solutions that teach, enable, and allow team members to demonstrate the mastery of specific skills
  • Support leaders, coaches, and HRBPs in the performance management and feedback process by providing frameworks, tools, and processes to evaluate how well their people are doing
  • Work directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts to collect and organize raw content and design effective learning and enablement deliverables and experiences
  • Develop and produce all learning, enablement, and skills evaluation deliverables and tools
  • Own the launch, execution, and ongoing management of all scoped programs and initiatives
  • Create surveys, quizzes, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and enablement solutions
  • Manage solutions such as projects, owning timeline, scope, updates, and communication with stakeholders
  • Source and partner with external vendors as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5 -7 years of experience in an instructional design role
  • 3-5 years of experience executing and running training programs
  • Fluency in leveraging various AI technologies to create, manage, and evaluate solutions
  • Experience working with a wide variety of learning technologies (examples: Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Multimedia tools, etc)
  • Excellent project management and consulting skills
  • Experience working with performance management programs and/or competency modeling a plus
  • Strategic and wholistic thinking - ability to construct a long-term vision based on achieving specific goals. Ability to break long term vision into shorter, time-bound milestones
  • Dedication to progress and results - process orientation and methodical in approach to training and enabling team members
