Job summary

AmeriNat is seeking an IT Support Technician in Albert Lea, MN to deliver exceptional end-user IT support and training. You will manage ServiceDesk tickets, assist users across in-person, phone, email, and chat channels, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

The role emphasizes internal customer satisfaction and the use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge discovery while maintaining security and accuracy.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should possess or be working towards an Information Technology degree or IT certifications.
• Strong understanding of Windows 11 and Microsoft productivity tools (Office, Teams, SharePoint).
• Comfortable using AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude).
• Understanding of Mac (OSX).
• General understanding of LAN/WAN, servers, and security is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Own ServiceDesk tickets and manage updates/escalations for timely resolution.
• Provide first-level support in person, by phone, email, and chat.
• Coordinate with vendors for additional IT support and escalation.
• Assist in setup, maintenance, and tracking of IT hardware.
