Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Technology Risk Audit Manager to own the IT controls and AI-powered testing efforts. You will guide SOX/ITGC strategy, extend controls to consumer trust domains, and partner with Engineering to safeguard access and CI/CD integrity.

The role offers a path to build the internal audit function from the ground up, with relocation support to the SF Bay Area and a mix of in-office days.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years in IT audit, risk management, or controls across financial and consumer trust domains.
• Strong foundation in ITGC controls and access/change management.
• SOX/ICFR knowledge with risk-based audit design.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT SOX/ITGC strategy and continuous improvement for financial systems.
• Extend controls to privacy, security, and trust & safety domains.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure access controls and CI/CD integrity.
• Guide control design during system implementations and migrations.
• Manage audit teams and external contractors, tracking remediation.
• Apply AI/automation to improve audit testing and anomaly detection.
• Coordinate with external auditors and report to senior leadership.
