Job summary

King & Spalding in Washington, DC seeks an Innovation Attorney to align innovative legal technologies with regulatory workflows, from GenAI to data analytics, serving as a liaison between lawyers, clients, and Technology Department.

Reporting to the Director of Practice Tech & AI, you will partner with practice groups, develop templates and workflows, and help expand firm-wide adoption of new tech while safeguarding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

JD or equivalent and admission to the relevant state bar.
Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a law firm or legal operations role; regulatory experience.
Experience in strategic application of innovative technology in regulatory practice at a leading global law firm.
Proficiency with technology, legal technology, and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

Partner with practice groups in regulatory areas to optimize efficiencies using GenAI and technology.
Replicate successful innovations across teams to maximize impact.
Configure legal technologies and develop templates/workflows.
Identify opportunities to enhance technology solutions for clients and practice groups.
Serve as liaison for clients on AI projects and ensure alignment with client guidelines.
