Job summary

BetterUp is seeking an HR Operations & AI Enablement Manager to reimagine HR Operations. You’ll own processes, systems partnerships, and compliance, while using AI to reduce manual work. You’ll lead a 3–5 person team and coordinate with Legal, Payroll, IT, and Recruiting, reporting to the VP of Total Rewards and HR Operations.

This role drives end-to-end onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and data governance with a strong emphasis on AI adoption and scalable solutions across the US.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HR operations leadership with scalable processes.
• Hands-on AI/automation experience with measurable impact.
• Experience administering benefits and compliance.
• Direct Workday experience and integration with other systems.
• End-to-end HR ops knowledge across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled HR Ops redesign and governance.
• Manage a 3–5 person team and act as escalation point.
• Partner with Legal, Payroll, IT, Recruiting and Total Rewards.
• Own HR data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Define SLAs and ensure compliance across processes.
