Job summary

Hyliion in Austin, TX seeks a Technical Program Manager to own planning and coordination of hardware programs for power generation components, bridging engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and operations to move beta designs to production.

The role requires coordinating testing, managing timelines and KPIs, and leading cross-functional meetings with engineering, operations and suppliers to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2–5 years in project coordination or similar.
• Experience in fast-paced startup-like environments, aerospace/robotics is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, manufacturing and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end hardware program execution from prototype to initial production ramp.
• Partner with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to ensure manufacturability and scale.
• Develop and maintain detailed timelines, budgets and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and report program status to leadership.
• Coordinate testing and validation of parts, including mechanical and durability tests.
• Support supplier sourcing, DFx reviews, and DFMEA activities.
