Job summary

Hyliion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and improve assembly processes within the Industrialization team at our Texas facilities. You will develop lines, fixtures, and material flow systems to convert prototypes into scalable production operations, targeting waste reduction and improved yields.

Collaborate with design engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to drive process qualification, documentation, and continuous improvement across KARNO core, module,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred in engine/genset/precision assembly.
• Hands-on experience with fixtures, jigs, tooling and production transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve assembly lines, cells, and workstations for KARNO core and modules.
• Design fixtures, jigs, and tooling from concept through qualification.
• Optimize material handling, kanban, and flow to reduce waste.
• Lead standard work, changeover reduction, and process qualification.
• Support prototype-to-production scaling and cross-site transfers.
