Job summary

SageOx, Inc. seeks a full-stack hardware-focused engineer in Seattle to own the Ox Dot stack—from firmware to cloud services and user experiences. This role blends hardware bring-up with software, tooling, and automation in a fast-moving startup setting.

The successful candidate will drive end-to-end device development, from boot and memory to testing harnesses and deployment pipelines, while collaborating closely with hardware suppliers and the product team.

Qualifications

• AI-native mindset and ability to work across hardware, firmware, cloud and UI.
• Experience shipping hardware or firmware to production.
• Curiosity and hands-on tinkering with hardware and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Drive firmware and hardware on the Ox Dot, including boot, memory, audio, and connectivity.
• Build development harnesses and the APIs to operate a device end-to-end.
• Stand up automated hardware testing and scalable update pipelines.
• Write cloud services, app and web layers that talk to the device.
• Provision, first-boot and provisioning workflows to bring devices to customers.
• Collaborate with suppliers on supply chain and hardware shells.
