Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics work. You bring judgment from years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping, while we supply AI challenges to reason about circuits and physical constraints.

You will design realistic engineering problems, run them through frontier AI models, and judge outputs against high professional standards. Remote, project-based work is common.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs to your standard.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, and calculations with justification.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and clear rationale.
