Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering tasks. You bring your design, debugging, and hardware shipping experience to teach AI to reason about circuits, systems, and physical constraints.

You will design problems, run them through AI models, compare versions, critique outputs, and flag failures with evidence, drawing on analog, RF, and power systems expertise.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for evaluation.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, selections, and calculations.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and precise reasoning.
