Job summary

Pogo in New York is hiring its first GTM Engineer to partner with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering. You’ll build AI-powered systems that drive pipeline and conversion, shipping code that scales revenue.

As a hands-on builder and operator, you’ll audit the GTM stack, embed with sales teams, and develop internal tools that automate key GTM workflows. Prior startup experience and strong AI tooling skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably tied to GTM or revenue systems.
• Extensive use of AI tools to ship meaningful features and experiments.
• Experience building with LLMs and AI agents for real workflows.
• Hands-on with modern GTM stack and integrations; APIs and webhooks fluent.

Responsibilities

• Ship AI-powered workflows that scale growth and sales as a competitive advantage.
• Audit the GTM stack, identify gaps and redundancies, begin shipping improvements.
• Embed with sales and growth teams to turn plays into company-wide systems.
• Build internal tools and agents to replace manual workflows (routing, enrichment, personalization, research, distribution, attribution).
• Know when to use off-the-shelf tools vs build custom solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to test and iterate features for GTM use cases.
• Publish playbooks and internal guides to propagate wins across the team.
