Job summary

Axle Informatics seeks a Contracts Administrator to support government contract administration, closeout, and compliance. You will draft and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Prime/Subcontracts, and Vendor Agreements, and maintain records in our contract system.

The role emphasizes leveraging AI and automation to improve workflows in a Rockville, MD setting. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of federal contract experience, FAR/DFARS familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience managing federal government contracts.
• Aptitude for AI and/or technology-focused solutions.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
• Hands-on experience with contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost-Reimbursable, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to convey terms to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; CLM tools considered a plus.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in Rockville, MD office 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Prime/Subcontracts, and Vendor Agreements.
• Create and maintain accurate contract records in contract management database.
• Ensure all contract actions align with internal policies and audit standards.
• Leverage technologies to drive efficiencies and improve cross-functional workflows.
• Stay informed on AI trends to improve contract tasks.
• Prepare documentation and lead kickoff meetings with internal personnel.
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance, performance and deliverables.
• Assist with contract management tools and automation enhancements.
• Support internal audits, reporting, and contract-related initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
